I’m not someone to just wing it on the day – having professional photos taken for you and your partner, your family or your latest addition is an investment! Before our session, I’ll ask you to fill in a brief questionnaire with some basic information, like who will be there and if there’s anything specific you’re looking for. I like to spend some time getting to know you and your goals for the shoot to ensure that I capture snaps that accurately reflect your vision and values. We can scope out locations for your lifestyle session, whether it’s at home, outdoors or at a venue of your choice. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable!

What's included:
The session fee is $275 and acts as a non-refundable booking fee. Sessions run for 30 to 60 minutes at a location of your choice, whether in-home or outdoors. After the session, you'll receive an online proofing gallery where you can select your favorite images. You'll also get 15% off the print store, with a selection of print and digital collections available on the next page. All prices include GST and are subject to change.

how it all works...
To start your session, we’ll take a minute to read the room. If there are kiddos or animals included in the photoshoot, it’s sometimes easier just go with the flow! I have a bunch of easy prompts and poses up my sleeves to encourage everyone to be themselves and relax in the session. I know it can be super awkward and weird to have your photo taken, but sometimes that brings out genuine laughs, which makes for the best snaps!
After the photos have been taken, it’s time for you to sit back and relax! I’ll be carefully curating and editing your own personal gallery of photos, which can be viewed at any time after it has been finalised. You’ll then pick your favourite photos from the shoot, which can then be downloaded, printed and shared. My editing style is super simple. I try my absolute best to keep the colours and editing true-to-life. Sometimes I do throw in a little trendy snap or two, but you can count on natural colouring!

I’m Madds – a photographer based in the Central West of NSW in Australia. Whilst I call Dubbo home, I’m a keen traveller and have a bucket list of places I’d love to shoot! When I’m not snapping pictures or editing photos, I might be adding to my collection of rare plants, in the pilates studio, running or spending time with my beautiful family.
My aim is to be more than just your photographer. I strive to be your trusted storyteller, using my years of experience and eye for detail to preserve the genuine essence of the moment for the future.

Do you offer in-home sessions?
Absolutely! I’ve done so many in-home sessions and love capturing the warmth of your own space. If you're keen, let me know when you reach out!
Do you design and sell albums?
Yes! I offer beautifully designed albums to showcase your favourite moments. Contact me for more details.
What is a lifestyle session?
A lifestyle session is an “anything” session, perfect for capturing real moments at any stage of life—families, engagements, maternity, couples, and more!
What is your editing style?
I keep colours and tones true to life, making sure your photos feel as natural as possible (AKA stressing until they’re perfect LOL). I might throw in a trendy edit or two, but you can always count on a timeless look.
How many digital images will we receive?
For sessions lasting 60 minutes or more, you’ll receive over 100 high-resolution images. I don’t cap the number of photos because every moment deserves to be captured.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
I’m based in Dubbo, NSW, and absolutely love to travel! A travel fee applies depending on the location, but I always try to find the most affordable way to make it happen.
when will we get our photos?
You’ll receive your full online gallery within a maximum of 6 weeks (often sooner, depending on the season). Your gallery allows you to download, share, choose favorites, and order prints.
How can we order prints?
Your online gallery includes options for ordering prints, including canvases, framed images, and traditional prints.
