I’m Madds – a photographer based in the Central West of NSW in Australia. Whilst I call Dubbo home, I’m a keen traveller and have a bucket list of places I’d love to shoot! When I’m not snapping pictures or editing photos, I might be adding to my collection of rare plants, in the pilates studio, running or spending time with my beautiful family.
My aim is to be more than just your photographer. I strive to be your trusted storyteller, using my years of experience and eye for detail to preserve the genuine essence of the moment for the future.

Most people call me Maddie, but I love being called Madds! I live in Dubbo, NSW, with my partner, his son and our cute cat, Lamy. I've had a camera in my hand since i was 5. This camera in this photo was my first one ever!
I’m a massive plant nerd! I love collecting rare plants like monsteras, philodendrons and syngoniums, and can chat about indoor plants any day of the week. Eagle-eyed readers might notice that my session names and packages are inspired by my love of plants!
My coffee order is an almond milk latte – buy me one and I’ll be by your side for life!
While some people say never work with kids or animals, I have a background in childcare and am a big animal lover! I love the unpredictable nature and unbridled energy they bring to a shoot—they really bring out the best in people.

The Madds you see here is the Madds you’ll meet at your photoshoot, event or wedding – I’m authentically me and want you to feel comfortable with the person behind the lens. I love blending into the background and letting the candid moments unfold. However, be prepared for a bit of friendly conversation! I want you to feel comfortable and be yourself so I can capture the essence of the moment in a natural and authentic way. My editing style is super simple. I try my absolute best to keep the colours and editing true-to-life. Sometimes I do throw in a little trendy snap or two, but you can count on natural colouring!
